Matt Selig has been a fly fishing guide for 20 years, having started his guiding career in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. He moved to Carbondale 8 years ago, where he is a husband and father to 2 boys. Matt’s passions run much deeper than taking clients on wade and float trips—he has a master’s degree in Special Education and has spent a lot of time working with children and adults with disabilities. He has worked with Special Olympics and served as a residence manager for Ascendigo Autism Services. Matt is also on the advisory board for Fish For Change. Matt cares deeply about our rivers, and is enthusiastic in spreading his knowledge of them and their preservation to clients.
