Crystal River –
Flow: 771 cfs/Redstone, 943 cfs/Carbondale
Conditions: Currently high and dirty with runoff – this should change in another 2-3 weeks. Better conditions and fishing can be had on the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers. That being said, diligent anglers who cover and find the soft pockets of water can still be successful with generic searching patterns. If you’re in the area and want to go fish, Beaver Lake in Marble has been very good lately. A low snowpack this past winter will mean that you’ll want to take advantage of the ideal conditions from mid June through July.
The fly shop is loaded to the gills with a ton of new fly tying merch, new rods and reels, new logo apparel and so, so much more. Swing by and help support your local independant fly shop!
Our guides know the Crystal River intimately – let us give you the highlight of your vacation!
