Crystal River –

Flow: 287 cfs/Redstone, 378 cfs/Carbondale

Conditions: Spring has sprung – the Crystal has variable water conditions dependent on the weather. Cool spells can yield windows of fishable conditions. One can expect the usual spring BWO, caddis and stonefly hatches. Of course, the worm and streamer bite can be good at times too. As the waters continue to rise with spring runoff, look for any pockets of soft water to hold fish. In general, better fishing can be had on the Upper Roaring Fork and Frying Pan rivers right now.

As always, feel free to give us a call for daily river conditions at 970.963.5741
